Papilles Cocktails à la française is launching an original range of high-end craft cocktails ready to serve for delivery anywhere in France and has just opened its first store in Albi (Occitanie). The Tarn company was created in 2022 by Alexis Taoufiq, holder of the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) Barman since 2015 and distinguished by numerous awards in mixology. The young entrepreneur wants to offer consumers a real taste experience at home by allowing them to enjoy bottled cocktails with the same guarantee of quality, flavor and emotion as those offered in the prestigious establishments where he has exercised his talent around the world.

It is a tricolor tradition. The French have always been attached to their moments of conviviality, both with family and friends, which they like to associate with the sharing of taste pleasures. In recent years, wine and beer have given way to new flavors on the table, testifying to a craze for the consumption of cocktails 1 . Papilles ' ready-to-drink cocktail collection is available for all tastes thanks to recipes carefully developed in a laboratory-boutique located in the heart of the episcopal city of Albi . The menu includes no fewer than six original and exclusive creations signed by MOF Alexis Taoufiq, including the Tête de Mule , a cocktail with character concocted with organic French vodka, perfectly combining the power of ginger, the freshness of mint and the sweetness of elderflower. Or the Pêche au Dragon , a milk punch (cocktail developed using the ancestral technique of milk clarification) that will seduce with the power of its aromas and its incredible delicacy. In addition to the new products, there is also a menu of mixology classics , including the essential Negroni that the MOF likes to revisit each season. Additional cocktails, including non-alcoholic recipes, are already in preparation to complete the menu during 2023. Alexis Taoufiq's creativity has no limits!

Papilles ' wide range of cocktails suits all tastes and adapts to all occasions and events, large or small. These ready-to-drink cocktails are homemade and made with fresh products. They can be stored at room temperature, with no expiration date. For a better tasting experience, it is advisable to refrigerate them before serving. Available in a 70cl bottle format (6 to 7 glasses) with a sober and refined design, the cocktails are also offered in 10-liter barrels . The draft barrel format allows you to make certain cocktails on the menu in their effervescent version such as the famous Mojito or the Moscow Mule , and is perfectly suited to larger events.

About Alexis Taoufiq, MOF barman

After training in the hotel industry in Strasbourg, Alexis went abroad to perfect his skills in Swiss palaces and then in cocktail bars in Melbourne (Australia). Upon his return to France, he practiced his talent for mixology in the bar Le Forvm in Paris, before being offered a position as first bartender in the famous Parisian palace Le Bristol . His career then took him to Montreal where he held the position of Director of Operations at 4e mur , a Speakeasy cocktail bar which, under his management, rose to the top 10 of the best cocktail bars in America in 2017. Winner of the prestigious World Class France competition in 2012 , Alexis won the ultimate reward in 2015 by becoming one of the youngest Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) in his category. After more than twelve years of professional experience, including seven years of expatriation, it was in Albi, in Occitanie, that he finally settled down to create his high-end take-away cocktail company: Papilles, cocktails à la française.
